A couple months before our wedding, Brent and I talked about buying a dog. Our talk consisted of:
Me: Can we get a dog?
Brent: Oh lady...
Me: What?
Brent: Lady...
Me: Why not?
Brent: That's enough!
And that was that.
But on one fateful day, Brent stopped by at a local pet store (not a puppy mill) and told me about some cute puppies he saw. He knew how much I love looking at puppies, so he brought me to the store the following weekend.
I’ve never seen so many different puppies at one time in my life!
He asked which one I liked the best. They were all so cute but there was one little fry that caught my attention. After showing him, it turned out that it was the same one he picked out too.
Since then, we entertained the thought of actually getting a dog (Kreacher, specifically) almost every day.
Me: Can we get Kreacher?
Brent: Oh lady...
Me: What?
Brent: Lady...
Me: Why not?
Brent: That's enough!
Every chance we had, we would go back to check-up on Kreacher. The more we saw her, the more we wanted her. But there was one problem. We realized that we were going to be away for two weeks after our wedding and leaving Kreacher alone wasn’t an option.
I was so disappointed but Brent tried to cheer me up by telling me that we can have her if she’s still there when we get back.
Me: Really? We're going to adopt Kreacher?
Brent: Oh lady...
Me: What?
Brent: Lady...
Me: But you said...
Brent: That's enough!
That made me smile but at the back of my/our minds, we didn't think she would be there anymore.
Two weeks later and back from our fabulous honeymoon, Kreacher was still there! Cheaper and cute as ever! We almost didn’t know what to do because we didn’t expect her to be there at all. An hour later, we brought her home.

So now I’ve decided to write a blog about her - about the Wonderful World of Kreacher. She was 3 months and 4lbs when we adopted her. As of today, she is 9 months and 5lbs heavier, yikes!
Here is a photo of our sweet Kreacher, taken a couple of days after we brought her home.

We couldn’t believe that no one wanted her.
Personally, I'd like to think that she was just waiting for us.
Brent: Oh lady...
Me: What?
Brent: Lady...
Me: It's true!
Brent: That's enough!
